Product details

Part 142090020101 is a genuine oven fan motor supplied with its fan blade, for Artusi ovens from the Eurostyle group. It's the motor at the back of the oven cavity that spins the fan to move hot air around the oven on fan forced settings. We don't have a list of Artusi oven models for it, so check that the number on your old motor's label matches before you order.

Noisy or stopped Artusi oven fan

A worn oven fan motor tends to give warning before it stops. The first sign is usually noise, a grinding, squealing or rattling from the back of the oven as the bearings dry out. Later the fan may turn slowly, stop when hot, or not start at all, leaving fan forced cooking uneven or slow while conventional bake still works. If the blade is loose or catching on the cover, the noise can be fixed at the blade, but worn bearings mean a new motor.

Replacing the oven fan motor

Isolate the oven at the switchboard and let it cool fully. A hard-wired oven should be worked on by a licensed electrician. You'll usually need to remove the oven from its cabinet to reach the motor at the back. Photograph the wires, transfer any gasket or spacer, check the new fan spins freely without touching the cover, and test it on a fan setting.

Questions about this part

Does this include the fan blade?

Yes. Our records list it as an oven fan motor with fan, so the blade comes with the motor. Check the shape and size of the blade against your old one as part of comparing the parts.
