140267665028 Genuine Flue Cover Extension 1100mm for Electrolux Group Chimney Rangehoods, High Ceiling Extension

Standard chimney covers only reach so far, and part 140267665028 is the genuine Electrolux group flue cover extension for when they fall short. At 1100mm long, it adds height to the cover so the ducting stays hidden under taller or raked ceilings. It's a fit-out part rather than a working component. Another 1100mm extension is catalogued as 140267665036, so check your hood's model number to choose the right one.

Rangehood flue too short for your ceiling?

On a chimney rangehood, the standard flue covers are sized for typical ceiling heights. In kitchens with high or raked ceilings, or where the hood is mounted lower than usual, the covers can leave a gap where the duct shows. An extension piece fills that gap so the chimney runs cleanly to the ceiling. It's also the part to replace if an existing extension has been dented or scratched. Measure the full distance from the top of the canopy to the ceiling to work out whether one extension is enough.

Installing the flue extension

Isolate the rangehood's power before working around it. Extensions are normally fitted while the duct and support bracket are going in, so plan the job with your installer. Measure twice, protect the finish while handling and line up the joints carefully. If the hood is being reinstalled, have the electrical connection made by a licensed electrician.
