Fitting the new control panel
Turn the appliance off at the isolating switch before starting, and let it cool if it has been used. Pull off the knobs, then remove the screws holding the panel, which are usually along the top edge or underneath. Photograph any wiring or switches attached to the back before moving them across. If wiring has to be disconnected on a hard-wired unit, get a licensed electrician to do the job.
