Changing the grease filter

Switch the rangehood off and let the cooktop below cool down. Most mesh filters release with a spring clip or latch at the front, so support the filter as you release it. Slide the new filter in at the back first, push it up until the latch clicks, and check it sits flush. Wash the filter regularly to keep airflow strong.
