It's the adjustable wand that runs down to the floor nozzle, letting you set a comfortable length for your height or stretch out to reach under furniture. With no model list on file, check the number against your old tube or confirm your vacuum's model before ordering.

When an Electrolux vacuum tube needs replacing

A telescopic tube has two sections that slide inside each other, plus a catch that locks the chosen length. When the catch wears or breaks, the tube collapses as you push, which makes vacuuming hard work. Dents and cracks are common too, often from the tube being stood on or dropped down stairs, and any split lets air leak in so suction at the floor head drops off. Worn connection ends can also stop the nozzle clicking on securely, leaving it to fall off mid-clean.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 140207643028

Telescopic tube supplied complete

Adjustable length

Listed for the Electrolux Pure range

Swapping the telescopic tube

Switch the vacuum off, or unplug a corded model, before changing attachments. Release the old tube from the handle and the floor nozzle using their catches. Push the new tube on until each end clicks home, then try the length adjustment through its full range.
