140204586030 Genuine External Frame Assembly M-Blue/C-Silver for Electrolux Group Appliances, Replacement Outer Frame Housing

140204586030 is a genuine Electrolux group external frame assembly, finished in the colour combination listed as M-blue and C-silver. An external frame is the outer housing piece that gives the part its shape and finish and holds inner components in place. Our record doesn't say which appliance it belongs to, so it is best matched by part number from your parts list or the old frame.

Replacing a cracked or faded external frame

Outer frames take the knocks. They're the first thing to hit a wall, a doorway or the floor, and their colour finish is exposed to sunlight, cleaners and wear from handling. Cracks around screw points or clips can make the frame loose, so parts rattle or don't close properly, and broken edges can be sharp. Faded or scratched finishes are mostly cosmetic, but a split frame can let inner parts move out of position. Matching the colour code keeps the appliance looking uniform.

Fitting the frame

Switch off and unplug the appliance, or remove the battery if it's cordless. Before removing the old frame, take photos of how it sits and which screws and clips hold it. Move any inner parts across carefully, fit the new frame without forcing the clips, and tighten screws evenly so the frame doesn't crack. Check everything moves and closes as it should before using it.
