Fitting the new control panel
Turn the oven off at the isolating switch or circuit breaker and wait for it to cool. Pull the knobs straight off, then remove the screws that hold the panel and ease it away from its clips. Photograph every wire and connector before touching the switches behind it. A hard-wired oven that has to be pulled from the cabinet should be disconnected by a licensed electrician.
