Fitting the new knob
Make sure the appliance is switched off and cool, and that every gas burner is off. Pull the old knob straight towards you, keeping it square so the shaft doesn't bend. Line up the new knob with the off position and push it on until it seats. Check it turns cleanly through each setting and returns to off.
