Fridge not cooling but lights still on? Check the inverter board
Instead of switching the compressor fully on and off, an inverter board varies its speed to match how much cooling the fridge needs. The main control board sends the demand signal and the inverter turns it into power for the compressor motor. If the inverter fails, the compressor may not start at all, or may start and stop over and over. The usual result is a warm fridge and freezer while the lights, display and fans seem normal. A fault code on the display may also point to the compressor circuit.

Fitting the inverter PCB safely
Switch off at the wall and unplug the fridge, then wait several minutes before touching the board, as inverter capacitors can hold a charge. On many fridges the inverter sits near the compressor at the lower back. Note which plug goes where, swap the board over and secure any earth or mounting screws. Restore power and be patient, as many fridges delay the compressor start for a few minutes.
