Autodosing machines store liquid detergent or softener in a reservoir and measure it into each wash automatically, so the seals need to stay liquid tight. No model list is on file, so check your model and PNC against the parts list before ordering.

Detergent leaking from an autodosing washer?

In an autodosing system, small pumps or valves draw detergent from a tank and push it into the wash at the right moment. O-rings seal the joints between the tank, pump and pipework. As they age they can flatten, crack or swell from contact with chemicals, and leaks follow. You might find sticky detergent residue around the drawer or under the machine, a tank that empties faster than it should, or a dosing warning. Replacing a worn O-ring is often all it takes to stop the drip.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part number 140138239011

O-ring for the autodosing system

For Electrolux group washing machines with autodosing

Model list not on file, confirm by PNC

Replacing the O-ring

Turn the washer off at the wall and empty the autodosing tanks before dismantling anything. Wipe away detergent residue so you can see where the old O-ring sits. Remove it carefully with a plastic pick rather than a screwdriver to avoid scratching the sealing surface. Moisten the new ring with a little water, seat it evenly in its groove, then reassemble and check for leaks during the next wash.

Questions about this part

Which O-ring in the autodosing system is this?

Our records list it as the autodosing O-ring without naming its exact position.
