The lens is the clear or diffused cover that sits over the LED circuit board, spreading the light evenly and protecting the board. Electrolux doesn't list the appliance in this entry, so compare the size, shape and clip positions of your old lens and check its part number.

Why replace an LED light lens

LED boards themselves last a long time, but the plastic lens over them is exposed to knocks, cleaning and, in some appliances, heat, moisture or grease. A cracked or broken lens leaves the board open to splashes and damage, and a lens with snapped clips can rattle, sag or fall out. Old lenses can also cloud or discolour, making the light look dim or patchy even though the LEDs are fine. A new lens restores the light output and keeps the board covered.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux group part 140126313158

Lens for the upper LED PCB

304.6 x 110mm

Lens only, LED board not included

Size

304.6 x 110mm

Fitting the new lens

Switch the appliance off at the wall or isolator so the LED board isn't live while it's exposed. Note how the old lens is held, usually by clips or small screws, and release it gently to avoid stressing the board. Wipe dust off the LEDs with a dry cloth, line up the new lens and press it home evenly until it seats along its full length.

Questions about this part

Is the LED board included?

No. 140126313158 is the lens only, the cover that fits over the upper LED board. If the LEDs themselves have failed, you'll need the matching LED PCB as a separate part.
