The bucket stores the cubes your ice maker produces, and the auger inside turns to push ice forward to the dispenser. It's the slim version of the bucket, and similar buckets exist under other numbers, so check 140068336209 against your old bucket or your fridge's details.

Ice not dispensing? The bucket and auger could be the cause

When you press for ice, the auger motor turns a spiral inside the bucket that moves cubes towards the outlet. If the motor fails, you may hear the dispenser flap open with no ice coming out, or a hum or click with no movement. Cracks in the bucket, a broken auger or ice frozen into a solid block can also stop delivery. Melted and refrozen ice often points to a door seal or temperature problem, so check that too. Because this assembly includes the motor, it covers both the bucket and the drive in one replacement.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux group ice bucket assembly

Part number 140068336209

Supplied with the auger motor

Slim bucket version

For fridges with an ice maker and dispenser

Changing the ice bucket and auger motor

Unplug the fridge or switch it off at the power point before working on the motor.
