Electrolux describes it as the 1/2 flex bin in Electrolux (EL) packing, so it's the narrower bin rather than a full width one. It's a door storage bin for Electrolux fridges. With no model list on file, confirm the number on your old bin or your parts list before ordering.

Replacing a broken half width door bin

Half width bins split the door storage into smaller sections, handy for jars, condiments and small bottles. They still carry plenty of weight, and the clips and corners are the usual failure points. Look for cracked sides, a broken locating lug, a bin that slips down the door or one that has split along the base. A worn bin can also tilt forward when the door swings. Replacing it stops jars toppling out when the door opens.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 140068317027

Flex door bin, half width (1/2)

Electrolux (EL) packed version

Order by part number, models not listed

Fitting the bin

Unload the bin and lift it up and out of the door liner, keeping it level so the clips release together. Check the liner mouldings for damage. Line the new bin up with the same mounting points and press it down until it seats firmly, then push down on each end to make sure it's sitting square before loading it.

Questions about this part

Is this the full width or half width bin?

It's the half width version, marked 1/2 in Electrolux's description. A full width bin would carry its own part number, so if that's what you need, send your fridge model and product number through the parts enquiry form and we'll find it.
