Product details
This small trim is a genuine Electrolux group knob cover ring, flat profile, part 140061500058. Rings like this sit around a control knob and finish off the panel. The description doesn't name the appliance, colour or diameter, so compare it with the ring you're replacing and check that the number matches your parts list.
Why replace a knob cover ring
A cover ring frames the knob where it meets the control panel or fascia, covering the hole in the panel and the switch spindle behind it. On cooking appliances in particular, rings can discolour from heat, lose their finish to cleaning products, crack or fall off when knobs are pulled off for cleaning. A missing ring leaves an untidy gap that lets grease and spills in around the switch, which can lead to sticky or faulty controls.

Fitting the ring
Switch the appliance off and let it cool if it's a cooking appliance. Pull the knob straight off its spindle. Remove any remains of the old ring, noting whether it clipped in or was held by the knob. Fit the new ring in the same position, push the knob back on, and check it turns freely without rubbing on the ring.
Questions about this part
Do I need one ring per knob?
Yes, each knob position has its own ring. If several are tired or discoloured, replacing them together keeps them matching. Check the number on your parts list first, as Electrolux also makes knob rings that aren't the flat type.
