Oven door hinges carry a heavy glass door and use springs to balance it, so it opens smoothly and pulls closed firmly against the seal. Fitting oven hinges as a pair
Turn the oven off at the isolator and let it cool. Open the door fully, flip the hinge locking levers if your model has them and lift the door off, then lay it on a towel. Hinge springs hold a lot of tension, so keep fingers clear and follow the removal steps for your model. Replace both hinges together so the door stays balanced and seals evenly, then refit the door and check it closes square.
