Product details
Part 140042388011, with the older number A04238801, is the genuine Electrolux cast centre trivet for Forte range 90cm gas cooktops. It fills the middle position between the outer trivets and supports pans on the centre burner. If you're replacing a full set, the standard and wok trivets are separate parts with their own numbers.
Centre trivet cracked, chipped or missing?
On a 90cm cooktop the centre trivet often gets bumped as pans slide from one burner to another. Cast pan supports are strong under load but brittle if dropped, so cleaning time is when many get broken. Look for hairline cracks, chipped enamel with rust showing through, warped fingers, or a trivet that no longer sits level beside its neighbours. An uneven centre trivet makes it hard to move pans across the cooktop safely.

Fitting the centre trivet
Wait until the cooktop is cold and the burners are off. Take off the old centre trivet, clean around the centre burner and dry it. Lower the new trivet into the middle position, check its edges line up with the trivets on either side and that it sits steady, then test the burner with a pan in place.
