It's made for the wok position rather than the standard burners. The standard and centre positions use different trivets with their own numbers, so check your parts list if you need more than one.

Replacing a damaged wok burner trivet

The wok position sees the most heat on a gas cooktop, and the trivet above it takes the brunt. Over time the casting can crack, the fingers can warp or burn away at the tips, and enamel can flake around the hottest areas. A damaged wok trivet lets the pan sit unevenly or too close to the flame, which affects cooking and can leave the wok unstable. Using the wrong trivet over the wok burner can also give a lazy yellow flame and soot on your pans.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 140042387021

Older number A04238702

Cast trivet for the wok burner position

Suits Forte range 90cm gas cooktops

Cooktop width

90cm

Position

Wok burner

Fitting the wok trivet

Turn the gas burners off and let the cooktop cool before handling the trivets.
