Electrolux fridge display blank or buttons not responding?
The user interface board shows the set temperatures and any alerts, and passes your button presses to the main control board. When it fails you might see a blank or flickering display, missing segments, buttons that do nothing, or settings that change on their own. Moisture from opening the door in humid weather is a common cause. Check the wiring plug between the display and the main board first, because a loose or corroded connection gives the same symptoms.

Replacing the display board
Unplug the fridge before you start. The display usually unclips from its housing inside the fresh food compartment, so ease it out carefully without straining the cable. Unplug the old assembly, connect the new one, clip it back in and power up. Reset your temperatures and check the buttons all respond.
