Changing the fan shroud
Turn the fridge off at the wall and unplug it before removing any panels. If the shroud is inside the freezer, empty it and let any ice melt naturally first. Photograph the fan wiring and the way the shroud clips or screws in. Fit the new assembly, reconnect any plugs, make sure the blade spins freely by hand, then restart the fridge and listen for rubbing.
