Fridge hard to move, rocking or out of level?
The front roller and foot carry a big share of a full fridge's weight. The roller lets you move the cabinet for cleaning, and the foot sets the height so the fridge stands level and the doors close by themselves. Over time rollers crack or flat-spot, axles bend, and threaded bases strip or snap, especially if the fridge has been dragged sideways. Symptoms include a fridge that rocks, leans forward, leaves marks on the floor when moved, or has doors that swing open on their own.

Fitting the roller and foot assembly
Unplug the fridge and empty the door shelves to reduce the weight. With a helper, tip the fridge back just enough to take the load off the front corner, and support it securely. Remove the old roller and foot, fit the new assembly, then lower the fridge and wind the foot until the cabinet is level side to side with a small lean towards the back.
