Westinghouse oven grill not heating?

The grill element sits in the roof of the oven or grill compartment and glows red to brown and crisp food from above. Changing the grill element

Turn the oven off at the isolator or circuit breaker and wait for it to cool. Because ovens are usually hard-wired, a licensed electrician should do the electrical work. Photograph the terminal connections at the back before disconnecting them, then fit the new element, reconnect the wires in the same positions and check the element sits evenly against its supports. Run the grill briefly to confirm it heats.
