WQE6000SA fridge not cooling? Check the main board
Everything the fridge does runs through this board. It reads the temperature sensors, turns the compressor and fans on and off, controls the lights and handles defrost timing. A failed board can leave both compartments warm, stop the fans, prevent defrost so ice builds up on the back panel, or leave the controls dead or showing an error. Look for burn marks or swollen parts on the old board. Because sensors, fans and the power supply can cause similar faults, rule those out before you replace the board.

Fitting the board
Switch off at the wall and pull the plug before touching the board. Take clear photos of the plugs and their positions, then release the old board from its housing. Static can damage electronics, so touch an earthed metal surface before handling the new board. Reconnect everything exactly as it was, refit the cover and allow a few hours for the fridge to cool down.
