Part 140008047098 is a genuine Electrolux full width fridge door shelf measuring 658 x 82mm. It's also linked to A00804704 and A00804709, so any of those three numbers on your parts list or old shelf points to this part. Being full width, it spans the inside of the fridge door rather than sitting in one corner, which makes the overall size the key thing to check.

Replacing a cracked Electrolux fridge door shelf

Door shelves carry a surprising amount of weight, from milk and juice bottles to jars and sauces, and they cop a jolt every time the door swings shut. Over time the plastic can crack at the ends where it hooks onto the door liner, split along the base, or go brittle with age. A broken shelf can drop bottles when you open the door, or tilt so things fall over. Swapping in the correct genuine shelf brings back the storage and holds everything securely again.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 140008047098

Also linked to A00804704 and A00804709

Full width fridge door shelf

Measures 658 x 82mm

Size

658 x 82mm

Fitting the door shelf

Empty the old shelf, then lift it straight up and out of the door supports.
