Dishwasher not draining or leaking from the back
Waste water leaves the dishwasher through this hose, pushed by the drain pump up to the sink spigot or standpipe. Hoses get kinked when the machine is pushed back into the cabinet, pinched by cupboard fittings, or split where they rub on a sharp edge. A kink or blockage leaves dirty water in the tub at the end of a cycle and can trigger a drain error, while a split hose leaks into the cabinet or onto the floor during the pump out. Check the hose along its full length and flush water through it to find any blockage before replacing it.

Fitting the drain hose
Turn the dishwasher off at the wall and turn off the tap. Slide the machine out and have a bucket and towel ready for the water left in the hose and sump. Connect the new hose at the dishwasher end first, then route it up to the sink spigot with a high loop so dirty water can't siphon back. Clamp it securely, push the machine back without pinching the hose and run a short program to test.

Can I join an extension to make it longer?
It's better to use one continuous hose. This one is 2340mm long, and joins add extra points where leaks or blockages can start. If your sink outlet is further away, check your installation manual for the maximum drain hose length.
