Fitting the door bellow

Unplug the washer and turn off the taps. Remove the outer clamp ring from the door opening, then free the bellow from the front panel. The inner clamp holds it to the tub and may need the front panel off to reach. Line the new bellow up with any locating marks, refit both clamps evenly and run a rinse to check for leaks.

Can I just clean the seal instead of replacing it?

If it is only dirty, a wipe with mild detergent and leaving the door ajar between washes helps a lot. Once there is a split, hole or perished rubber, cleaning will not stop the leak and the bellow needs replacing.
