When to replace an aluminium rangehood filter

Fitting the grease filter

Switch the rangehood off and let it cool. Release the old filter by its catch or handle and lower it out carefully, as it may be oily. Before fitting the new one, wipe any grease from the filter frame. Locate the edge opposite the catch first, then push up until the catch clicks. Give the filter a gentle tug to make sure it's secure.
