Over time the plastic coating on the wire chips, and once bare metal is exposed it rusts, leaving brown marks on dishes and on the tub floor. Broken or missing wheels make the basket drag, jam or jump off its rails, and bent tines stop plates standing upright so they get in the way of the spray arm. A worn basket can also scratch the door liner each time it's pulled out.

Part details

Genuine part 12976000001368

Also known as 12976000005352

Lower (bottom) basket for the dishwasher

Listed for DeLonghi DEDW6112S, Euro ED6004X and Technika TBD4SS-5 and TBD4SS-6

Also on file for CSDW60SS-6, HNBD12S and ODW700X

Swapping the lower basket

Pull the old basket fully out and lift it clear of the rails.
