Oven door won't stay shut or hangs unevenly
Every time the oven door opens, the hinges take its full weight, and the springs inside them pull it back against the seal as it closes. Heat and constant use slowly weaken those springs and wear the pivot pins. The door may then fall open, stop halfway, bounce, close with a slam or sit lower on one side. Gaps around the door let heat out, which lengthens cooking times and can scorch nearby cupboards or knobs. A hinge bent by leaning on the open door causes similar trouble.

Replacing the oven hinge
Turn the oven off at the wall and give it time to cool. With the door fully open, rotate the hinge locking levers forward, then close the door slightly and lift it out. Mark the hinge position, swap it over using the same screws, rehang the door and release the levers. Open and close the door several times to check it moves smoothly and seals well.
