Constant heating and cooling makes it go hard and flat, and the corners often split or pull out of their mounting holes. Once that happens you'll notice heat on the knobs and fascia, steam escaping above the door, more grease staining around the oven front and longer preheat times. A worn seal also wastes power, since the elements run longer to make up for the lost heat.

Part details

Generic replacement, part 12382140

Replaces 12382220 and 12380700

Oven door seal

Listed for 15 Blanco and Omega ovens

Fitting the replacement seal

Let the oven cool fully and open the door wide.
