Bosch washer not draining? Start with the fluff filter
The fluff filter screws into the drain pump housing behind the service flap at the bottom of the machine. It catches lint, coins, hair ties and other small items before they reach the pump impeller. A cracked or broken filter can leak water onto the floor, fail to seal, or let debris through to jam the pump. If the cap is stripped or the handle has snapped off, it can be impossible to remove for cleaning. Clean the filter regularly, and replace it if it's damaged or no longer seals.

Swapping the filter
Turn the washer off at the wall. Open the service flap, put a shallow tray and towels underneath, and drain the water through the emergency hose if your model has one. Unscrew the old filter slowly to let the rest of the water out. Clean out the housing, compare the bases, then screw in the matching new filter until it's firmly seated and check for leaks on the next wash.
