Draining a Bosch dryer directly to waste
Dryers that condense moisture collect the water in a container you normally empty after each load. A drain kit redirects that water through an outlet hose to a sink, laundry tub or standpipe, so the dryer can run without stopping on a full tank. This is handy if the dryer sits on a stand or in a tight cupboard where the container is awkward to reach. If an existing drain hose is cracked, kinked or blocked with lint, water can back up and the dryer may stop with a full tank warning or leak onto the floor.

Connecting the drain kit
Switch the dryer off at the wall. Follow the steps for your model in the user manual, which show where the internal hose is unclipped from the container connection and joined to the new outlet hose. Run the outlet hose to the drain without kinks and keep within any height limit the manual gives. Secure the end so it can't slip out, then run a load and check for leaks.
