Draining a Bosch dryer without emptying the water tank
Condensing dryers draw moisture out of the clothes and normally pump it into a container you empty after each load. With this hose set fitted, that water goes to a sink, laundry trough or standpipe instead. It's also the fix when an existing drain hose has split or come loose and water is turning up on the floor. If the empty tank warning still appears after fitting, check the hose for kinks or blockages and confirm it's connected the right way.

Connecting the drain hose
Unplug the dryer before you begin. The pump outlet hose is normally unclipped from its holder at the back of the machine and joined to the new hose. Run the outlet to a trough, sink or standpipe and secure it so it can't pull out. Keep the hose free of kinks and look for drips after the first load.
