It's on file for the WAW28620AU in its /12, /17 and /24 versions, and is also listed as 12004178, 12005832 and 00651569. Because it comes as a complete module, it replaces the whole dosing assembly rather than a single piece of it.

Bosch washer not dosing detergent automatically

On machines with automatic dosing, which Bosch sells as i-DOS, liquid detergent and softener are held in tanks in the drawer and the dosing module measures out an amount to suit each load. When the module fails, the washer may stop drawing liquid from the tanks, show a dosing fault, or leave clothes looking and smelling as if they were washed without detergent. Leaks around the drawer area are another sign. Thick detergent left sitting for months can block the system, so flush the tanks before condemning the module.

Part details

Genuine Bosch part 12011913

Complete dosing module

Also listed as 12004178, 12005832 and 00651569

On file for WAW28620AU/12, /17 and /24

Replacing the dosing module

Unplug the washer and turn off the tap. Empty the detergent and softener tanks into a container, as anything left inside will spill when the module is disconnected. Getting to it usually means removing the top cover and the drawer, so photograph each hose and plug as you go. Refill the tanks afterwards and run a short program to check it doses without leaking.

Questions about this part

My machine is a WAW28620AU/24.
