1170388001 Genuine Universal Cutlery Basket ULX201 for Electrolux Group Dishwashers, Replacement Dishwasher Cutlery Holder

1170388001 is Electrolux's genuine universal cutlery basket, also sold under the accessory code ULX201. It's designed as a general replacement basket for dishwashers rather than a part for one model, which makes it handy when the original basket is broken or lost. Because racks vary in layout, check the space where your old basket sat against the photos before ordering.

When your dishwasher cutlery basket needs replacing

The cutlery basket keeps knives, forks and spoons apart and upright so water from the spray arms reaches every surface. Baskets crack with age, handles snap, and the dividers or lids break, which lets cutlery fall through and jam the lower spray arm. A damaged basket often leads to cutlery that comes out dirty or spotty, blocked spray arms and rattling during the wash. A universal basket gives you a replacement when the original part is no longer easy to get.

Using the universal basket

Place the basket in the lower rack where the old one sat, and check it doesn't stop the lower spray arm turning. Spin the arm by hand with the rack pushed in. Load most cutlery handles down for better cleaning, but put sharp knives handles up for safety. Run a wash and check the basket stays put when the rack slides in and out.

Questions about this part

Will this basket fit my dishwasher?

It's sold as a universal basket, so it suits many dishwashers, but rack layouts differ. Check the space in your lower rack against the photos, and make sure the spray arm clears it. Send us your model number if you'd like us to check.
