Wok burner not sparking? What the spark plug does
The spark plug is an insulated electrode that sits beside the burner. When you push and turn the knob, the ignition module sends a high voltage pulse to it, and a spark jumps to the burner to light the gas. A cracked insulator, a corroded tip, a wet electrode after a boil over or a damaged lead can stop the spark, send it to the wrong place, or leave the other burners clicking while the wok stays silent. Clean and dry the area first. If the insulator is cracked or there's still no spark, the plug needs replacing.

Have a licensed gas fitter replace it
Gas cooktop repairs in Australia should be carried out by a licensed gas fitter. Turn off the gas at the isolation valve and switch the cooktop off at the power point or isolating switch first.
