Electrolux part 1118949104 is a genuine upper spray arm for dishwashers, measuring 450mm long. It's the rotating arm under the top basket that throws water up through the glasses and cups. Top basket coming out dirty?
Water is pumped up a feed tube to the upper spray arm, and the angled jets along the arm make it spin so the whole top basket gets washed. Arms crack, warp or split along the seam with age and heat, and the small jets clog with food scraps, glass fragments and limescale. You'll notice cups and glasses coming out with residue, film on the top rack while the bottom is clean, or an arm that no longer turns. A split arm also bleeds pressure from the rest of the wash system, so results suffer throughout.

Fitting the upper spray arm
Turn the dishwasher off at the wall before reaching inside. Pull the top basket out and look underneath, where the arm is usually held by a screw-on nut or a clip. Before fitting the new arm, rinse the feed tube and check nothing is blocking it. Once it's on, turn it by hand to make sure it moves freely and clears the cutlery and basket.
