AquaStop is Bosch's leak protection system. The hose has a valve housing at the tap end and a protective outer sleeve, and if the inner hose bursts or leaks, the escaping water triggers the valve to shut off the supply. In most cases the mechanism can't be reset once it has tripped, so the whole hose has to be replaced. Signs include the machine refusing to fill, a water inlet or AquaStop error, water sitting in the base tray, or a cracked or swollen valve housing at the tap.

Changing the AquaStop hose
Turn off the tap and unplug the machine. Unscrew the old hose at the tap. If the other end connects inside the machine, remove the rear cover to reach the inlet valve, catching any water left in the line. Route the new hose the same way without kinks, tighten both ends by hand plus a small extra turn, and open the tap slowly. Check for drips at both ends before running a wash.

Can I use a standard inlet hose instead?
A plain hose will carry water, but you lose the automatic shut-off that protects your floor if the hose fails. Fitting 11045139 keeps the machine's leak protection working the way Bosch designed it.
