Bosch dryer door not staying shut? The latch is the usual culprit
The latch is the catch that grips the door when you push it closed and holds it firmly against the seal while the drum turns. Dryers are opened and shut many times a week, so the catch and its spring wear or crack. A worn latch can let the door pop open mid cycle, leave it needing a hard push to close, or stop the dryer starting because the machine does not sense that the door is shut. A door that no longer pulls in tight can also let warm air and lint escape around the seal.

Replacing the dryer door latch
Switch the dryer off at the wall and unplug it. Open the door and look at how the latch is fixed, as on some models a panel or the door seal has to be eased back for access. Take a photo of the original before removing it. Fit the new latch the same way, then close the door several times to check it catches firmly and releases with a normal pull. Run a short cycle to confirm the dryer starts.
