It's a compatible aftermarket filter, not a Miele product, for machines that use an AirClean style exhaust filter. Filter shapes and sizes vary between Miele models, and our record doesn't list them for this filter, so compare it with the filter you're replacing or send us your vacuum's model number before you order.

Weak suction or dusty smell from your Miele

An exhaust filter is the last line of defence, cleaning the air that leaves the vacuum after it has passed through the bag and motor. Over time it clogs with fine dust. A blocked filter restricts airflow, so suction drops, the motor works harder and runs hotter or louder, and the vacuum can give off a dusty or burnt smell. A torn or poorly seated filter lets fine dust blow back into the room. Changing the filter regularly, along with the bags, keeps the vacuum performing as it should.

Part details

Generic compatible filter, not made by Miele

AirClean style vacuum filter

Made to suit Miele vacuum cleaners

Models not recorded, compare with your old filter

Changing the filter

Switch the vacuum off and unplug it.
