Product details
093B60 is the genuine Glem Gas orange indicator lamp, supplied together with its cap. It's the small light on the control panel that glows to show power is on or that the oven or an element is heating. Glem fits these to its ovens and cookers, and our record gives no model list, so compare 093B60 with your existing lamp for colour and body size before you buy.
Glem oven indicator light not working?
Indicator lamps tell you at a glance that a hotplate, oven or grill has power. On many cookers the orange lamp also cycles on and off with the thermostat, which is a handy guide to when the oven has come up to temperature. When the lamp burns out or its cap cracks, the appliance usually keeps cooking, but you lose that warning, and that matters with hot surfaces and kids around. A lamp that flickers or stays dark, or a cap that has melted or fallen out, are the usual reasons to replace it.

Fitting the indicator lamp
Indicator lamps are wired into the control panel, so cut the power at the wall switch or the circuit breaker first. Most push into a hole in the panel from behind and are held by spring tabs, with two wires on the back. Label the wires before you disconnect them. A hard-wired oven or cooker should be worked on by a licensed electrician.
Questions about this part
Does the lamp come with the cap?
Yes. Our record lists 093B60 as the orange indicator lamp with its cap, so both parts are included. Match the colour and body size to your old lamp, as indicator lamps vary between models.
