Product details
This generic door seal is made to replace Blanco part 090148009902R on 750mm to 900mm ovens. It suits the Blanco BOSE75X and BOSE90X, the BOSGG75X, and models in the BFS95 range, for example the BFS95CX. It is a compatible aftermarket seal, so compare the profile and fixing clips of your old seal before ordering.
Blanco oven losing heat around the door?
The door seal sits around the oven opening and closes the gap between the door and the cavity, holding heat in while you cook. After years of high temperatures it goes hard, flattens, tears or pulls out of its fixing points. Heat escaping past a worn seal makes the oven slower to reach temperature, cooks unevenly, heats up the knobs and door front, and wastes power. You may also see steam or smoke puffing out around the door, or grease staining on the front panel. A seal that is torn or no longer springs back should be replaced.

Fitting the new oven door seal
Switch the oven off at the isolator and make sure it is completely cold. Open the door fully, or remove it if that gives better access, and note how the old seal is fixed, often with clips pushed into holes around the cavity. Start the new seal at the same point as the old one, push each clip home and keep it evenly tensioned around the corners without stretching. Close the door and check for an even fit.
