They replace the Blanco hinge number 12600420, so if that number appears on your parts list, this pair is worth a look. Buying them as a pair means both sides of the door get fresh springs at once. As they're aftermarket, compare the hinge arm and fixing points with your old hinges before ordering 031199009930R.

Oven door falling open or leaving a gap?

Oven hinges hold the door's weight and use springs to pull it closed against the cavity seal. With years of use the springs lose tension and the pivots wear. The door may drop open with a thud, stop part way, close unevenly or leave a gap along the top edge. Heat then leaks out, the oven takes longer to cook, and the knobs and fascia above the door can get uncomfortably hot. Replacing worn hinges as a pair restores an even, firm close.

Part details

Generic oven door hinges, sold as a pair

Part number 031199009930R

Replacement for Blanco hinge 12600420

Made to suit Blanco ovens

Quantity

Pair

Fitting the hinge pair

Switch the oven off at the wall and wait until it's cold.
