Bosch oven fan not spinning or noisy
This motor drives the fan at the back of the oven cavity, which keeps hot air moving on fan cooking settings. As the bearings wear, you'll often hear grinding, squealing or rattling that gets louder as the oven warms up. A seized or burnt out motor may hum without turning, or go completely quiet. With the fan stopped, fan forced cooking becomes slow and patchy, and some ovens trip a safety cut-out or blow a fuse when a motor shorts.

Replacing the fan motor
Isolate the oven at the switchboard and let it cool completely. Oven motors connect to fixed wiring, so the job belongs to a licensed electrician. The fan blade is usually held by a nut on the motor shaft, which on many ovens has a left-hand thread. Photograph the wiring, transfer any gasket, and spin the blade by hand after fitting to check it turns freely.
