Bosch dishwasher fill error or not taking water?
As water enters a Bosch dishwasher it spins a small turbine in the flow meter, and the reed switch counts each turn so the control board knows how much water has come in. If the switch fails, the board loses that count. Typical results are the machine filling for too long, stopping early with too little water, showing a fill error code, or pausing partway through a cycle. Before ordering, check that the inlet hose filter is clean and the tap is fully open, as a poor supply gives similar faults.

Replacing the flow sensor
Switch off at the wall, unplug the dishwasher and turn off the tap. Depending on the model, the sensor is reached by removing a side panel or lowering the base. Note its exact position and unplug the wire connector, then clip the new sensor into the same spot so it lines up with the meter. Restore water and power, then run a short program to confirm it fills normally.
